The brass shrub spray head is an ideal solution for applications that require the spray nozzle to be positioned above surrounding shrubs or flowers. The nozzle features an adjustment screw that allows you to reduce the spray pattern down to 75% of its maximum radius of 15 feet. The inlet threads are 1/2-inch female pipe thread (FPT), and the most common method of installation is on top of a 1/2-inch male pipe thread (MPT) rigid PVC riser. As plants grow, you can extend the shrub spray head above the plants by adding a PVC coupling and another riser.

Unique to the brass shrub spray head is the fact that both the adapter that attaches to the riser and the spray nozzle itself are made of brass construction. Machined brass spray nozzles create an extremely even water droplet size and distribution across the spray pattern. The brass adapter offers an additional advantage of being highly durable, allowing you to replace the spray nozzle rather than the entire head. The replacement nozzle is the same brass insert nozzle used for flush heads.

These shrub heads do not have pressure-regulating riser stems and are not for sale in California and other states that require pressure regulation. The recommended operating pressure is 30 PSI, and they are intended for outdoor irrigation use with cold water only.

The brass shrub spray head combines a shrub adapter with an adjustable pattern spray nozzle and a filter. The precision-machined brass nozzle ensures a highly consistent spray quality, and it is available in full, half, and quarter patterns to suit a variety of landscape designs. The shrub adapter allows for replacement with the same or a different pattern nozzle, and it is compatible with nozzles from Orbit, Hydro-Rain, and other major brands.

As these shrub heads are non-pressure regulating, it is important to check local code for any restrictions.
